Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A viral video capturing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attempting to feed a biscuit to a puppy during his ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Jharkhand has sparked a heated debate. In the video, Gandhi is seen petting a puppy owned by a Congress supporter during a roadshow. When the puppy refused the biscuit, Gandhi offered it to one of his supporters, igniting a wave of criticism and accusations of mistreatment from social media users.
The video, widely circulated on social media platforms, depicts Gandhi's interaction with the puppy during a campaign event. As he tries to feed the biscuit to the puppy, which rejects it, Gandhi then offers it to a supporter accompanying him. The incident has led to outrage online, with many condemning Gandhi's actions and alleging mistreatment of his supporters.
In response, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was tagged in the viral video, rejected claims that Gandhi had made him eat from the same plate as the dog. Sarma emphasized his pride in his Assamese and Indian identity and clarified that he had refused to eat the biscuit during a meeting with Gandhi.
Pallavi ji, not only Rahul Gandhi but the entire family could not make me eat that biscuit. I am a proud Assamese and Indian . I refused to eat and resign from the Congress. https://t.co/ywumO3iuBr
